About Globe Rivals

Globe Rivals was created by an experienced Irish Geography and History teacher to make countries, landscapes, climate and human geography feel powerful and memorable.

The idea came from the classroom: children remember what they compete over. Give a country a hero, a power and a number worth arguing about, and the geography stays with them long after the game ends.

Every rival is tied to a real country characteristic — terrain, water, climate or human geography — so the play always points back to something true about the world.
